Petrochemicals from coal and other cost-advantaged feedstocks

BSSB’s Methanol to Olefins process (MO) is an efficient producer of ethylene and propylene from natural gas, coal, or other synthesis gas/methanol source. Where conventional petrochemical feedstocks are unavailable, coal or other residues can be a stable-supply, low-cost feed for economic light olefin production. MO can also be an attractive solution for “monetizing” remote or stranded natural gas as an alternative to LNG. Associated polymerization facilities allow the production of highest value, easily transportable polymer products.
